Outdoor Spring Cleaning Checklist - Free Printable

Last year I shared my Spring Cleaning Checklist and 8 Forgotten Tasks of Spring Cleaning. This year I have decided to expand those lists to include an Outdoor Spring Cleaning Checklist.

As I started this post, I had to push through the $%^*& symptoms of seasonal allergies. So needless to say, I had to resist the urge to include "Annihilate all pollinating plants from your yard and concrete EVERYTHING!!" on my checklist. Some helpful items you WILL find on the checklist include: Clean out the gutters, Wash outdoor furniture, weed the garden and more!

This list is free for you to print, copy, and use for personal use. As long as you leave the watermark at the bottom, do not claim them as your own, and do not charge for a copy you are welcome to GIVE them away in any setting. Enjoy!!

Cute Bunny Feet Deviled Egg Recipe

Little Lady had her Easter party this week and I wanted to bring in some fun food. So I found this wonderful tutorial from Hungry Happenings. Too Cute!!

1. Boil the eggs.

2. Peel and cut the eggs like so, retaining the yokes.

3.Make your favorite deviled egg recipe or follow this one (I used Meme's recipe and left out the relish so it didn't look like my bunnies had athlete's foot or something). Add 8-12 drops of food coloring depending on how soft or bright you'd like yours.

4. Pipe the filling into the eggs. (If you don't have a piping bag, just fill a ziploc bag and snip the corner off)

5. Add 'toes' to each egg.

6. Dip your finger in some water and smooth the pads of the bunny feet out.

While I don't think there will be any extra luck from these bunny feet, they will be the hit of your next spring fling ;)

How perfect these were for out little party!! Check out how to make the Simple Bunny And Chick Cheese Sticks here.

Simple Bunny And Chick Cheese Sticks

Little Lady had her Easter party this week and I wanted to bring in some fun food. So I found this cute pic on Pinterest. (Please e-mail me if it's yours so I can link). This is such a simple idea and SO easy to make.

All you have to do is draw simple chick and bunny faces on the cheese sticks. Then tie ribbons on the bunnies. That's it! So easy! My only tip is use sharpies or other permanent markers and be careful not to smudge the faces until they are dry.

Recycling Tee Shirts - St. Patty's Day Style!

I am SO excited to be joining up with my Silhouette Challenge buddies to be offer some fun Apparel projects and this AMAZING giveaway:

(See bottom of post)

I have a confession to make: Little Lady LOVES purple and so her entire wardrobe is purple. I mean totally. She even had a Purple Santa outfit for Christmas.
Both sides of our family have Irish heritages so while you won't find us in a pub, we do enjoy celebrating St. Patty's day a bit more than most. So with St. Patty's day coming up, I knew I had to do something.  There is very little purple attire for St. Patty's day. So I decided to recycle a couple of tees. I actually didn't have an old green tee, but was lucky enough to find one for less than $3. You could do this project with just about any shape / season / holiday. I found that using another tee shirt was cheaper than getting new material.

1. Cut your green shirt so it will fit on your Silhouette mat. If you're recycling an old one, make sure the section you are using is free from stains and defects.

2. Following your bonding materials directions, apply the bonding material to the green tee material.

3.Place your green tee Bonding material side UP on your Silhouette mat.

4.Cut this file: Clover. Using the above settings. Don't forget: Any shape you cut will need to be mirror imaged so it applies correctly.
5. If you're like me and have a dull fabric blade, you may need to trim the material. Fortunately it should be just a few threads holding it together and VERY easy to see where to cut by hand.

6. Again, following the bonding material directions, peal off the backing...

7. Iron onto the new shirt.

Viola!!! A beautiful new tee!! You can leave it plain or add other decorations. You may want to sew around the edge of your design depending on what bonding material you used.

With this beauty Little Lady can wear her purple AND be pinch proof this St. Patty's days! :D
