One of the most important parts of camping to help insure you have a great trip is packing. Both of my older two children receive the following packing list and are required to initially pack their own bags. I of course go back over the list and check, but I love that most of the gathering is already done.
Here is our master list (in Excel format). Some of the items are not required for all trips depending on season, age, gender, and location. But this is the list I start with and mark off what they don't need before I give it to them. Feel free to save and edit it as necessary.
Below are two printables of the lists with the items divided up by Summer (or warm weather) and Fall (or cool weather).
These are just personal packing lists to make sure everyone has what they need. I'll be publishing a master packing list soon, so check back.
