Camping June 2016

I am so happy we've crossed the first thing off out Summer Bucketlist already!! Camping! If you know anything about my family it's that we are big campers. We try to go at least once a month during the "off season" and more than that during the summer! This year we've added some new goodies to our supplies!

While Penny isn't a new 'supply' she is new to our trips. She LOVES camping just as much as the rest of us. Can't you tell from that big smile? ;)

Uncle Bubba helped us set up this trip and even swept off Meme's camper roof. Bubee thought is was hilarious that Uncle Bubba was on the roof.

Little Lady really loved the water this year and ventured into the lake further than she has in years pasts.  (BTW: All 3 of my kids are strong swimmers, but in the lake we still require them to wear life vests, it's just safer that way. Even Meme and I don't venture past our waists without a noodle or some other flotation device. Lakes aren't the same as swimming pools! Okay, end of my PSA. ;) )

Meme got this new grill and Bubba fixed us some YUMMY bacon cheeseburgers and bacon dogs! Mmmmmm! This is my new favorite way to cook! I'm currently putting together a camping cookbook to share, so check back soon.

Of course, no summer camping trip is complete without watermelon!! I got this amazing new Watermelon Slicer from #LefaliSlicer. Meme and I were able to cut this watermelon in just a few minutes! Little Lady loved it because she could eat the watermelon with no fork.

Needless to say, eating watermelon with your hands leads to a camp bath. Little Lady has grown so much in the past two years, I think it's time to get an Extra Large Tubtrug. LOL

It really was an awesome trip camping by the lake and enjoying some of God's promises!
