Giant Chocolate Kiss

I love chocolate! And who doesn't? I also love Hershey kisses. Just a perfect little bit of chocolate without ruining my dinner... BUT, every once in a while it's nice to 'ruin your dinner' and this GIANT chocolate kiss is a great way to do it!

  • Chocolate chips (I like the simi-sweet kind, but you can make yours out of any kind)
  • Microwave safe dish - Like this one
  • Tupperware Funnel
  • Cup that the funnel can fit in
  • Aluminum foil
  • Cooking spray
  • Wax paper
  • Card-stock
1.Melt the chocolate chips according to package directions. If there are no directions on the package then I suggest start with 1 min, then stir and continue to melt them in 20 sec intervals till fully melted. Always stir well between intervals.

2. While the chocolate is melting, plug the end of the funnel with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.

3. Make sure the chocolate is nice a smooth and totally melted, then poor into the funnel.

4. Tap the funnel a few times to get any air bubbles out. You may even want to run a toothpick down the side to help release the suborn air bubbles. Make sure the top is fairly smooth (This will become the bottom of your kiss and you want to make sure it sits flat.)

5. Allow it to cool in the fridge overnight until solid.

6. One quick tap onto the wax paper should release it easily.

7. Cut the card-stock and decorate it if you like to resemble a Hershey's Kiss tab.

8. Wrap in aluminum foil and give to your favorite Valentine. (Or enjoy yourself ;)  )

I gave mine to Bubee. I think he really liked it!!

This is a great gift for Valentine's day and year round. It makes a wonderful teacher's gift and is so simple to make. What are you getting your Valentine this year?

Everything in the post was made using Tupperware. If you're looking for some really awesome Tupperware like the perfectly shaped funnel I used, check out Meme's new page!!
(BTW, I did not receive any compensation for this post from Tupperware or Meme. She's just my mom and I wanted to share this great idea and her page with you!)
