- Pillow worthy Placemat (I used this one from Target)
- Fiber fill
- Seam ripper or Scissors
- Needle and Thread
1. Using the seam ripper, remove about 3-4" of the seam. As you can see in the picture above I could not find my seam ripper and Meme helped with her knife.
2. Fill with fiber fill.
3. Make sure you stuff the corners really tight to get a nice firm, and full pillow that will display nicely.
4. Fluff and maneuver the filling BEFORE you sew the seam back up.
5. Using a flat catch stitch, sew the seam back up.
6. Enjoy!
This whole project took me less than 5 min and less than $8 and the results are BEAUTIFUL!!! I may have to make a nice accent pillow for each season now. My salt and peper shaker collect is growing, I think I may have to start a pillow collection too!!
