3 Easy Jar Mix Gifts with Printable

'Tis the season to give... and give, and give. I love to give gifts, but my heart is much bigger than my pocketbook. So this year I choose to make some jar mix gifts. They are not too expensive to make, especially in bulk. While these are pretty easy to make, the thought will still count! I made 3 from one of Rosey Posey's kids' treats book: Mint Surprise Brownies, Apple Orchard Pancake, and Apple Cinnamon Muffins.

To make each of these, just layer the ingredients in a 1-quart food storage jar (I found theses cute flip top jars with tags in the Christmas section at Wal-Mart. They are a little bigger than 1q. but that makes them easy to pack. You can also use a mason jar and add a ribbon to make it cute). Put the ingredients in the jar in order listed so that the first ingredient listed will be on the bottom and the last ingredient listed will be on top. Attach the printable and give! All the printables are 4X6 size so to fit in most standard recipe boxes.

1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
2/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 Cup Chocolate-Covered Bit-size Mint Candies (in a small Ziploc bag) - I used Junior Mints

These mixes make a great gift for ANYONE on your list and even make a great last minute gift: Teachers, out-of-state family, hostess gifts, neighbors, co-workers, play-group moms, pastors, hairstylist, Anyone!

UPDATE: After giving my family these mixes for Christmas, everyone keeps asking for more, or threatening to steal other family member's jars. LOL, I guess everyone liked them!
